Hello, I’m Wilderness. I’m a yoga teacher, coach, and author with over 20 years of experience, grounded in deep respect for the body’s intelligence and each person’s lived experience. My teaching emphasizes listening over pushing, with a focus on awareness, resilience, and nervous system support rather than performance.
Since my yoga certification in 2005, I’ve worked with students across ages, abilities, and life phases, offering thoughtful, adaptable practices rooted in safe, functional movement. I’m especially passionate about supporting bodies navigating stress, change, injury, or illness through a trauma informed lens.
As a certified life coach since 2021, I weave coaching into our work together. Our sessions go beyond physical movement into a deeper exploration of self, consciousness, and sustainable growth. I’m most interested in yoga as an integrative, supportive practice that helps people feel more at home in their bodies and more aligned in their lives.
I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and as a true Oregonian at heart, I love spending time exploring the outdoors. I received my Bachelors degree in Art History and Archaeology at Portland State University and attended the University of Oregon for Graduate studies in Historical Preservation.
