Midday Somatic Reset Yoga with Jordann

Midday Somatic Reset

Taught by Jordann

Tuesday's from12:00-12:30 PM PST

This class is a gentle, 30-minute practice designed to serve as a grounding pause, offering a restorative "reset" for both your body and mind during your busy day. This class functions as a gentle cleanse for the nervous system, focusing on supportive, restorative and Yin style poses held for extended periods to encourage deep softening and physical release.

Throughout the practice, you will be guided through Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed awareness, providing a structured yet meditative space to turn your attention inward. As you hold these shapes, you are invited to explore your "parts"—the various thoughts, emotions, and sensations that comprise your internal landscape—with curiosity and compassion, allowing you to reconnect with your center in a way that feels safe and sustainable.

Because this session focuses on slow, intentional movement and stillness, it is ideal for those seeking to soothe and reset, making it a perfect midday sanctuary to help you move out of a place of fragmentation and into a state of ease. No prior experience with yoga or IFS is required; all bodies and all levels of familiarity with internal inquiry are welcome. Whether you are looking for a moment of quiet reflection or a physical break from the stressors of your day, you will leave feeling grounded, held, and refreshed, with the clarity needed to navigate the remainder of your afternoon.

No props are required, but if you have a bolster, pillow, or blanket, etc. you are welcome and encouraged to use these throughout class.

About Jordann:

Jordann is a yoga instructor, holistic health coach, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner focused on helping individuals develop a greater sense of self-awareness and a balanced internal environment.

Her teaching practice spans over a decade, rooted in mindful movement and connection with the body's physical and emotional sensations. Her approach integrates the mechanics of yoga with the compassionate framework of IFS, offering space to align mental well-being with physical health. Jordann’s work is deeply informed by years of experience supporting neurodivergent clients through movement; this shapes her emphasis on accessibility, listening to the body’s cues, and developing a stronger sense of internal grounding.

In her classes, participants can expect a balanced practice blending intentional movement, functional breathwork, and self-inquiry, providing a quiet space to decompress from daily stressors and reconnect with all parts of themselves.
